We all live in a digital world now and most things are noted down on smart phones and tablets on the go. This is great, but if you are like me, you prefer to write by hand rather than type. It’s faster right?
Whitelines Link is the solution! Whitelines Link turns paper to digital. It’s like a scanner for your phone! Whitelines comes in various sizes and types of notepads and diaries. A4, A5, A6, both lined and squared. I bought the lined A6 from Dymocks in Brisbane. You can also download and print its special papers for free.
On each four corners of a page are markers which essentially like QR codes that the phone camera works off. At the bottom of each page there are also markers for email, Evernote, and Dropbox. Crossing one of these boxes means your note will automatically be forwarded to one of these services. Download the Whitelines App (Available for both Android and iOS) and allow the camera to capture what you have written or drawn.
The app allows you to group notes in sections like Ideas, Class, Work, and Sketches. The background and the lines of the page magically disappear, leaving only what you have written or drawn, or both. Whitelines is really good for writing and sketching ideas and then sharing digitally with your peers. You can also save to the camera roll
The Swedish company has done a fantastic job of being able to merge paper with digital.
